Then I Turned Around...and it was Gone!

I don’t know how many of you remember, but I clearly recall standing on the current far side of the bridge a few months ago. Summer was beginning, school was out…a season of possibility and surprise!

Our list included Summer’s greatest hits such as Eating out of the garden, planting and tending to flowers, growing Black krim tomatoes, camping in the back yard, getting corn form a local farm stand, enjoying a huge helping of home-made local ice cream and just in general, a lot of barefoot walking anywhere it could be done.

And this summer had it’s great moments. Freshly fried zucchini with homemade marinara sauce from the garden eaten outside as a family, Sunday evening jazz and blues music softly lending itself to an outdoor beer or wine, weeding (yes, weeding!), watching the Irish Bells come up and actually see how the namesake was derived. Humanling, who has epilepsy, had her yearly EEG during the hottest days of over 100 degrees. Poor thing with her head wrapped up tight in a bandage and the Wrapologist telling me, “Keep her head from sweating”.

This summer also brought a few of the worst fights my mate and I have ever experienced together as well. During those fights, never wanting to give up or leave, just Fix.

Everytime I think I have learned about myself, I realize that I cannot hold onto who I think I am right now. This will not stick. I will be different in a week or a month or a year. I’d love to take those pieces and moments of me that I enjoy and put them in a lidded jar, to contain what I know I will forget. I will forget all those wonderful qualities that I have when a fight comes around. Or when my mate asks why I did something This way instead of That way. Or when I lose my patience and snap on my little girl that I only want to shield from scars of all kinds.

It’s so easy to become down on ourselves. No wonder there’s a market for self esteem and confidence books. And thankfully for the younger sect as well.

But buying a book isn’t good enough. Practice practice practice. My Humanling needs to see me feel like a million percent Light in order to see that it is not only possible, but to bridge her to her own 100%.

I need to prioritize teaching her how to feel Safe with her feelings. That feelings are always okay. She is never wrong for having them. Reactions on the other hand…..our house needs time to slow down between exchanges. Reactions could be different, given a buffer of time. Until we can do so, I can only hyper focus on my own….being attentive, aware and deciding right then and there to drift with the moment on a non-reactive river.

Our summer saw the illness and death of my mate’s stepfather, who was essentially the only and best male role model he has ever had since he was about 13. We watched three strokes, at one per month and then finally on August 21st, stood in his hospital room and watched his last exhalation.

This has been the only death that I have witnessed. I am still trying to wrap my head around watching a bundle of 62 years that laughed, raged, experienced, married twice, raised and adored two daughters and become something huge to many, just end. Simply. No drama, no final gasp like on TV. Just an exhale of Done.

This has been the only time I have witnessed “Til Death Do Us Part” and watch his wonderful wife devastated, yet graceful, accept the reality of this vow.

Due to Bill’s death, I have now been to only one funeral that had a New Orleans 2nd Line feel to it. Bill’s son in law played the “When the Saints Go Marching In” on trombone as we waved handkerchiefs and twirled parasols on our way to the reception hall.

At the same reception, I heard wonderful and lively stories about the dearly departed. He was a wine connoisseur, and had earlier on in life, his own wine shop that refused to carry cheap wine. Our table had the best wine I’ve ever tasted. A wonderful chardonnay with strong vanilla in it. I finally had my first love moment with a wine.

Leaves and temperatures are doing their seasonal ritual….the gradual dips. Slowly so as to not shock us. Another beautiful season.

I’m going to miss my bare foot excursions as the time needs to be taken now to sock and shoe up while gently we move into this new season of healing and adapting.

Malcom Makes an Appearance

Kagome Pictures, Images and Photos

Me: Put your socks and sneakers on. We can't play badmitton in flip flops.
Humanling: Why?
Me: Because you'll trip all over the place. C'mon, go change.

She doesn't change.

Me: (walking into another room and calling out) Put on your socks and sneakers.

{Accordion plays in the next room}

Humanling: That song was called "You're not the boss of Me"

Then quickly adds with a huge smile -

"I'm just kidding though!"

Yeah kid. The truth in humour....

And it starts....

holding hands Pictures, Images and Photos

I am so glad that I'm getting married this summer. Looks like I will need El to get ready to flex his Extra Dad muscles soon enough. Cavey can flex dad muscles but it's like that tree in a forest contemplation....would we know if we never see him?

Humanling is starting the pre pre pre serious crush. The kind where I've heard the boy's name every day for a few days. The kind where everytime she mentions him he is "funny" or "kind" to her. AND THE KIND WHERE THEY LOST RECESS TOGETHER! Apparently he high fived her and they both had recess revoked.

Well today, Troy and Gabriella apparently sat in an auditorium together watching the grade five band and held hands. I tried to ask everything the "right" (read: non abrasive) way so that I can continue to stay in the loop.

Humanling started the hand cuddle. And Little Boy did not let go. Unless he was afraid she'd hit him.

And so since my hair is free of gray, apparently there has been a summoning.

On another note, I have American Idol on and do I need to even express the Wow that goes with show opener, Adam Lambert?

Although the judges seemed sort of lukewarm on the duet between Kris and Danny, I thought it was pretty good. And this is why I will not see my invitation in the mail anytime soon to come warm the seat next to Simon.

On to feed the boys now. I'm hearing a distinct Wheeting in the air going on in the other room. I'm sure they are ready for their bedtime meal.

Oh......Fuuuuuuuddddggggeeeeeee

Amongst other planetary wingdings today, this one could have been worse for Humanling.

She hit her elbow on a chair as I sit here and work from home on the laptop. And then I heard, what I hoped was my own improv in my head. "F***in Chair!"

The Eff Dash Dash DASH word.

All I can say is that epilepsy saved her tiny butt from a bar of soap in the mouth.

Damn cat. I just KNOW she is the source of this.

I'd love to hear how Other parents have handled this or how your parents handled this with you!

Fisher Price Drinking Game

Water Pictures, Images and Photos

I don't know about anyone else, but I can safely say that the Humanling can sail through her day with merely a sip of water. In fact, her smile would probably be even brighter if she had none. She likes juice and her almond milk but when it comes to water, she's frugal...you know, doing her part to conserve it on the planet by never drinking it.

I can be just as bad, but then activated in my head is the little Caring Nag voice reminding me that any of my perceived problems are most likely due to the fact that I'm barely drinking water. Even my credit score - lack of water. So I do my best. Well, not really but I'm conscious that carrying around my water bottle doesn't exactly mean that I am on the step of fulfilling the action.

In a quest to get my Ling's blood circulating on a level higher than Sludge, I made up a game. The Polar Express was on twice in a row. I told her that whenever the words "North Pole" were said, we had to swig.

This worked fabulously. After a while though, I knew she'd had enough. I handed her green bottle to her after catching the *North Pole* phrase. She looked down at me (she was on the computer at this point and I was sitting on the floor reading) and said "I disqualify myself from the game."

My calm, strange Capricorn. No yelling, no saying "I QUIT"...just as if she's making a bed with sleepy eyes....decides to tranquilify and disqualify.

But hey, it did work. Next we'll have to do it with High School Musical and the word 'Bolton'.

Hormones with 3 million Horse Power

Bride and groom Pictures, Images and Photos

If it weren't for the Challenge on Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey Goodbye....tonight might be merely observing other people's posts instead of writing this one.

Since taking on the 30 day challenge, I've not been able to keep up with reading my favorite blogs like I normally would have.

Normally Humanling is quite the source of my inspiration. Tonight its the other one - Miz Eye.

All I have to say is I had another lesson in how strong the power of language is. Language being a symbol for ideas, of things we desire or don't desire or maybe don't mind if certain ideas are out in the garden, nibbling on the lettuce.

My older gal and I are connected on Facebook. She's been living with her boyfriend and his parents for almost three years in another state so far that she could take up residence in a constellation and I'd probably be able to see her more than I do now. So when she put a little doo dad up that said she is "now married" on Facebook today, I went from amazing good and productive mood to a scattered blob of unresourcefulness.

I couldn't find appropriate phone numbers to validate any claims that I'd gained a son (whooo! Should've just had the fruit for breakfast!)

I immediately starting measuring up my initial run of motherhood and found every reason to dry up the grass of my soul and throw down a city of cement instead. I was so upset that I wasn't told she was tying the knot and imagined a family event with all smiling Far State faces and how everyone was partaking in the celebration....while I sat here not even being told about it. Even after hearing from her yesterday via email and seeing about five emails she sent to her little sister the Humanling, today.

Some tears, destruction of self preservation walls that I constructed years ago and two phone calls to my mother passed. And finally an email from my smart ass.

She said she put that there because its like they are married but that "LOL" they aren't.

The symbols that changed my body chemistry so drastically were overridden by the new symbol "LOL" and I was mostly restored.

Now I need to learn how to harness this power for all kinds of good and healing purposes (it works fast!). And not in a Firestarter way.

Flo Destroys my Zone for a Moment

angry Pictures, Images and Photos

I know I'm not alone here in saying this. We've all gritted our teeth and spoken through the forced smile when you are aggravated. I'm a person who needs not to hear talking while other talking is happening. If the online radio show is on, you can bet that's when Humanling, who right after school said her day was 'ok, nothing special', has found 92 things to run past me regarding what I've missed.

I usually start with a forced smile (because Humanling and I both have a Virgo moon...I intuitively know how easily crushed our zest can get if we are cut off harshly and will hesitate to bring up the subject ever again. I try very hard not to De-Zest her) and then end up pointing and clicking the pause button on the radio show. It's the law. The harder I am trying to hear the show, the more words and syllables in the words and interactive conversation she needs. The louder she speaks and the more separated my left and right brains get, the more I feel like my head has turned into one of those beef posters with the white dotted lines and the labels. Some days I'm smart enough to hit Pause immediately instead of testing my patience for a few moments longer.

HL and I had a nice night for the most part. I had a weird dark feeling during the 2nd part of the day, which is highly unusual for me. I couldn't quite see the man behind the curtain so thought Christmas shopping would be a fabulous idea. And it was.

I love Christmas shopping. I love buying presents for people. My vocation should be to buy my friends and family gifts. Even people I barely know.

It is also just about time for Aunt Flo to burst through the door and unpack for a few days. I'm usually not the PMS type. Except for today.

Once we got home tonight around 10pm, I started to feel the pressure of throwing a capsule into water and growing an instant maid to help me out. I got us home too late. HL needs a full night's sleep, especially with her epilepsy. You don't do a person with this issue any favors by depriving them of rest. I also remembered that she hadn't eaten much and you also can't let their blood sugar get too low. Dishes were piled in the sink. My hot guinea pig's cage is a day or two overdue for a poopless makeover. I started to load the dishwasher right after I threw a millet roll into the toaster oven to give HL a quick snack and then medicate her.

Once I start loading the dishwasher, its important for me to follow through without interruption. The hands are all wet and I don't feel like aquanating things around the house by having to tend to quick things during a loading session.

I broke down and bought HL something she really really wanted. Feety pajamas. Only she never had them before in the absence of a diaper. So she really didn't know how they went on. I told her to try and deal with it as I kept loading the dishwasher, hands dripping, the foreboding feeling of knowing that I wouldn't finish without some incident. She couldn't figure it out. She made noises of frustration (I haven't found a time where I've actually enjoyed these sounds with her as of yet) and I warned her to stop or else I would take the pj's away. Azrael the Evil took this moment to tear through HL's legs, causing the loud irritating noise of frustration that I took to be pajama related.

I quickly pulled out my ugly mask and went to work. I slammed the frying pan into the sink, grabbed the pajamas with my soaking wet hands and tossed them into the pantry and told her to go take a break. (Hm....who REALLY needed the break?). She then tried to tell me she made the No No sound because of the cat. I felt bad. And I had a huge sudden and tender green bump on the side of my knuckle where most likely the frying pan kissed me. Feeling the pain of the Green, I realized that I had just walked out on stage and accepted my PMS award. I was a complete jerk and felt like a huge bully.

HL came back out and wanted to try her jammies again. This time I instructed her properly and she got it right. I feel horrible that I basically traumatized her first experience with the big kid Feeties. She was so excited about these things and I went and got a green bump over it all.

I have tomorrow to make it up to her. But I already know when I climb into bed, at some point she'll wrap her little arm around me and ask for a hug and will then let her hand fall into my hair, twisting it around her fingers (a lifelong comfort of hers).

Deep breath.....the constraints of time are all in my mind. The bags will get unloaded, the dishes are now done and its Friday. Yeeee-haw.

Heard from the Living Room Floor

Humanling sits during a hiatus from house cleaning (of which she has merely moved a set of balloons from the room). The sound of Whiskered Satan's claws tackling the screens in the open window starts to grate on the nerves of anyone who has to live with her.

Handling it no more, she bursts.

"GEEZ AZRAEL!!!!!! Does she have to do EVERYTHING??!!!!!!!!"

And then, fluffing her aura back in place and adjusting her tipped halo...

"I'm trying to play solitare."

My Child Really Wants Passerby To Hate Me

It is a comic strip. And I'm already aware of my lack of drawing skills.

However, the images are embedded in my memory forever now.

Humanling and I have not really squared away how to be up completely on time for her bus. Therefore, I am busy putting all the Legos of Ling together so that she's nearly complete while then putting my finishing touches on a moment after yelling 'GET OUT THERE! I'LL BE RIGHT THERE! GO! GO! GO!" {She is yelling "Alright!!" in a most disagreeable and in a pathway to an after school grounding during all this}

It was raining a few mornings ago. I did my morning ritual of destroying my voice to get her out the door and told her to grab an umbrella, I'll be right down.

If I can at all draw, you might not see the umbrella in the first three frames. Because it didn't exist in my world of dimension, either.

When I looked out the door, I was horrified to see that Humanling was sitting there, on the front stoop, in the cold, pouring rain. This wasn't a video. Guns and Roses were not paying her to pathetically take the morning sting.

And the Bad Parenting Cherry On Top is that our stoop is positioned right there at a popular traffic light where, I would say, it is law enforced mandatory for every resident of our town to pass through and sit.

Now what you DON'T see up there is the fact that I also threw her blue button down shirt (closest thing on the floor that I could grab and run back downstairs with) to her to use as a towel to dry off a bit. Inspiration hadn't hit me any sooner to do laundry early enough to have a Sacrifice for the Towel Gods.

In closing, this Comic has been approved by the Ling herself. Particularly frame #3, in which she asks me to do a voiceover as well.

Mean Girls - The Disney Princess Version

Imagine the expression on its face AFTER Humanling pounded it with a sharp rock, slammed it against bigger rocks, stomped on it with her shiny pink boots and then tossed it without a thought into the swamp amongst the cattails.

Wake up Mr. West Mr. West

We don't do Kidz Bop in this house. Or this car. Or with this parent.

Although tonight at Borders I was undermined by not having a good reason to say no and bought Humanling a book and kazoo set. After showing her a moment of basics in the parking lot, she caught on just enough.

Kanye West may never see his name on a Kidz Bop CD but he has been Kazooed.

Take this. Haters.

Are you gonna be awhile?

I had the joy of working from home today.

Someone gave my gluten free mini goddess a coupla saltines quite recently. Saltines = gluten.

Humanling was having a reactionary case of the Green Apple Nasties.

When I went into the bathroom, I found a new addition. The three inch thick 2008-09 Fairfield County Yellow Pages.

A little light reading for the call of Doodie.

They Don't Make Things The Way They Used To

Humanling and I went to the craft store for some jewelry supplies. I found something for her to make that seemed simple and easy. There were these little round tubes that you place on a plastic pegboard to create a pattern and then iron (whoops, didn't read that part - I don't have an iron and was going to use the curling iron). Being the anal Capricorn that she is, she read the package and told me that it had been Safety Tested and she seemed pleased with it.

As I did the dishes in the kitchen, I heard a sudden coughing and Humanling emerged, face beet red, eyes milking with Choke Tears. She couldn't speak and my mind thought of four things - get her outside closer to other neighbors who might know what to do, slap her on the back, ask if she can speak and hope for the best and....the faucet is still on - I'd better shut that off.

Once outside, she was able to talk. She had put one of those pieces in her mouth and swallowed. She's nine. I am hoping that this is the wildest thing she ever attempts.

She couldn't produce a reason as to Why this happened right away.

Until I heard her say with grave disappointment, "This product was NOT Safety Tested!!!"

Just call her Quality Control Inspector #13.

But What Will Our Gang Colors Be?

I stood with my buddy Organic tonight talking, Humanling interjected with her own current event.

Since she had these tonight, and announced it, we are going to start a band. And it will be called
"A Million Farts".

Any ideas for a logo?

Overheard in a Coffee Shop

Customer to Barista (both are men. Customer is probably in his 30s. Barista or rather, Baristo in this case is in his early 20s, if that): Some kids are evil.

Baristo - Nah, not really. It's how they're raised.

Customer: Charles Manson was born into this world.

Baristo (without missing a beat) - and parents raised him.

Humanling Runs the Mafia

If I were in Boys Over Flowers, I would have received a red note on my locker.

I've been marked.

After being scolded for being 'touched' with a hula hoop three times (I'd asked after Time Numero Uno not to know the feeling of being touched with said Hoop and yet it happened two more times while the eyes of the antagonist locked with mine - and YES it bothered me - it was the Point), Humanling gave considerable thought to our relationship in her time out.

She came to the kitchen and announced to me, "You have crossed to the Dark Side of our Friendship".

This means, that I have been "kicked out of the family."

She is now a self-observed orphan, seeing as this is a one parent circus. It's almost as funny as when Cavey and I are on the phone and he precedes a sentence involving some sort of Humanling life-schedule-diet change with "We'll have to....." as if he is ever in the 3-D context of her day.

"We" who? Me and my last name? Is the cat signing school forms now?

I'm pleased and tickled to announce that although the pay off was tough, one hug later, I was back into the linear family line. Since two points don't actually make a circle. Or any other shape.

Ah, Country Living in the Middle of Gas Stations

If I were born in the 1800's, I'd miss it. Then again, I'd miss out on ballpoint pens and their later day successor, the internet keyboard. And Science of Mind magazine. And Harry Potter books. Imagine a Huck Finn/Harry Potter stand off. There is something to be said for simpler times though (and I'm not just saying that because I'm broke!)

A few years ago, I was all about buying every single new eyeshadow, trying out the mineral make ups, and throwing ultra slick lip gloss into my bag. And yes, it had everything to do with the fact that I was dating a guy who was a decade younger than me. My inner Cougar woreth push up bras, hair paraphenalia that normally dealt with Lizzie McGuire and flowery perfume to appease the statement, "Where's that Pretty Girl smell?" after Minus a Decade boy got a whiff of my anti-age stanky cream instead.

If Minus A Decade boy and I got into an argument I had a wonderful friend at work who is in her fifties, who would advise me to go shopping. That's what she does as a hobby, as therapy, as an Olympic sport. His being an a*hole could result in me coming home with orange rugs.

Eventually I would come to find out that Humanling had a form of epilepsy - Petit Mal seizures. This would be the start of a different kind of revamping of myself. Before this, I was all about recycling, throwing the peels outside for the animals (much to the disgust of my neighbors so I would do it at night) and of course, animal & human rights...although probably more animal than human.

Humanling's epilepsy set me on a firm course for research. We learned about food sensitivities and got tested. She showed up highly sensitive to gluten and dairy foods. I scoffed. Pffff....! Obviously she got THIS malady from her dumb father's side of the family. They have problems with everything. Until I got tested and learned that indeed the only thing her dad passed down was looks. I'm the one with the high sensitivities.
Research in everything set me off to find ingredients in household products, all that stuff that we slather on our bodies in the form of soaps, lotions, shampoo's, toothpaste. All the stuff that is in our SAD (which appropriately enough stands for Standard American Diet). And all the stuff that is in our Stuff.

There is TOO MUCH STUFF.

Therefore, over time, we have become gluten and dairy free vegetarians who buy almost everything second hand or lift it off someone else's yard, taking the 'free' sign with it.
I insist that much of our clothing (barring the real personals - no one needs Already There skidmarks) is second hand. I am not pissing out silver dollars (after childbirth it can't be all that bad right?) but I do believe that I make enough to simply donate our clothes when we're done instead of try to sell them.

I used to buy a ton of CDs, DVDs and books. Know what I still have tons of unused or unread? Uh huh. I've whittled down and sold a bunch on Amazon (used is recycling - no supply and demand if people are buying secondhand!!). I now get all our books at the library. They're free!!! And I can take out as many as I want! And the book will enlighten a bunch of people...not just end up on my bookshelf with all my inspired yellow highlights that are forgotten within a week and never looked at again. If I must own a book, which will happen with a lot of energy healing books, then I will go to Amazon and buy it USED. They are much cheaper and again, we are avoiding supply and demand. And when I'm done, I will either resell it, shelve it if it will continue to educate me, or donate it to the library. The same with CDs! I can usually burn them on the computer if I really like it or just borrow it again at another time. You can look at it as stealing I suppose, however, I'm more concerned with the status of the air and planet that we're on - since I haven't figured out what other planet will get good internet service or show CSI (Vegas edition) reruns.

Humanling and I are fortunate to live down the road from our town library. Whatever our library doesn't have, I can request online. They have never disappointed me. I even happily pay my late fines there knowing that the fines have paid for the services that I am of privledge to have. Now if this were Blockbuster, I'd be pissed, wouldn't pay the fine and would have to open a membership at the one on the other side of town instead.
Humanling and I aren't into all these high tech ways to have fun. Yeeeeessssss, we have this computer. We have a Gameboy (it was the door prize from my last marriage). But best of all, we have f*cking 56 Games, people!!!

56 Games is our board game that we found at a craft fair. It was marked down from $1 to 50 cent and then to a quarter before we saw it. Humanling wanted it. I thought it looked boring and hokey. All these happy kids are on the outside of the box with their feathered hair and overbites enjoying a wholesame game of checkers. But sure...its a quarter, why not. The directions inside the box were printed in 1963.

A former serial Cougar like me has had some wild times with some wild people. However, I can usually be found nightly out on the deck or the front stoop with Humanling, dosing on our 56 games. I mean this is nightly!! I sprung that quarter almost a year ago! And maybe its not everyone's deal but I mean I am totally loving the fact that my kid and I are doing something as simple as sitting outside, enjoying the evening and rollin' the die. And yelling. Every time inevitably, the neighbors are blessed with being in close proximity to the accusatory rows that involve someone cheating. We sound like angry manga brothers.

Humanling and I enjoy most of the time, and I mean about 98% of the time, unprocessed foods. That's where the Farmer's Market really came in handy. It's like being closer to our food. I can't stop sounding so gay about this (yes, I said 'gay'. I've used this term for years and I'm sure most of you know it doesn't mean 'homosexual' nor make any sort of derogatory homosexual reference ~ end of disclaimer) but I am so feeling the energy of our fresh food and that its all so delicious and local and Unprocessed! It is the way this planet meant it to be (GMOs aside after we started messing with the seeds - I refuse to buy it if I can avoid it or eat anything that is a huge GMO crop without it being organic).

Here comes the preachy moment ~ it's a beautiful thing to do what you can to avoid putting your pennies into the hands of those products that you don't really need that are running rampant due to supply and demand. Each of us have to choose our battles and decide what we can change in order to bring the "DANGER Will Robinson!" banner down a few rungs. Waste is such sorrow. And I'm not kidding. I'm not trying to be funny or poetic. It really is. Especially waste that will outlive all of us and our very own DNA that we'll never meet. Very uncool. Choose your path - eventually you'll not even know how you could live any other way. And I'm not saying I'm perfect. I have no plans to ditch my internet or cable service. However, there are other things that I can and am doing. I can embrace technology while standing firm on technology that isn't necessary and is downright dangerous.

Summer is introducing putting our hands into the palms of Autumn within a month. That's just so awesome. Humanling and I will be moving our shouting match indoors so that the neighbors can have a new listening experience of who's allegedly cheating.

If this video has no effect for you then we will need to change your battery.

things She can do

When I was little I wasn't a girly girl. I climbed trees and collected tadpoles. But I couldn't do the following:

arm farts
burp on cue
burp real loud

Humanling, with no training from me, can:

Arm fart ferociously

Burp on cue AND like a sailor so that heads in the same zip code will turn, see that it came out of a 52 lb little girl and then laugh
Burp words

Give herself a wedgie (I have never, nor will I try to. Buying from Victoria's Secret alone though qualifies).

Fall down or somehow get me to touch her while walking past the local coffee shop where there is an instant audience assembled. For a bonus she may then yell in pain and a clearly abused fashion that she's gotten hurt and that I have done it. Three words ring up and down the street- YOU HURT ME!!!

****That last one would have gotten my mouth and tongue smacked straight off my face when I was little.

Humanling Allows Niceities to get the best of her

Scene: Me driving us down the main strip in our miniscule town.

Weather: Very hot

Characters: Me as the driver, Humanling as herself and a shirtless man walking on the sidewalk facing us.

Humanling [pointing with all her might outside the car window at the shirtless man] - EWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

Curtain closes as Me gasps in horror at the apparent wonderful job I've done in so far omitting etiquette in her 9 years.

Study question: But was he a MySpacer?

I Don't Have To Be What I'm Scared Of

A window into a moment that only I witnessed - Conversations with Humanling. I'm almost 40 (in a year and a half) so I don't remember what we were talking about to bring this World of Threatening Menace down on her Candyland.

Me: Does this mean you'll watch Harry Potter with me?

HL: I don't want to watch Harry Potter because its in 3-D.

Me: I'm 3-D, you're 3-D.

HL: You're 3-D but I'm not because I'm scared of 3-D.
