A Day in The (After)Life of Grandma Dust

I have not yet dug out my photos of Grandma Dust from the holidays gone by.....however, she was kind enough to allow the camera to follow her around the house for a day. Hint - she's wearing a sassy and festive little Red number.

Grandma D and I are chillin outside, waiting for Humanling to get home from school. She's here 24/7 so she sees what's up. Wordiness is not a huge component of our relationship.

And she doesn't seem to mind giving her input on current events.






How many kids get to carry their grandma's around before doing homework! And yeah, she's leaning into the wall. Gma's a little heavier than you'd expect. Don't let the white ribbon fool you. There is real bone in there. (Yes, I've looked. Don't act like you wouldn't if you had the box in your house. Or maybe only think of it at least once in passing.) And on a side note, seeing the bone is just BEYOND because I know that these bones are where 1/4 of my bones come from.





Here she is watching Humanling as she plays games on the laptop. Humanling clearly has no sense of humour that is worth anything.










Playing with Barbies is tough work when parenting, which is why I stay away from it altogether. Grandma Dust however, has all the time in the word Eternity to spare for the Barbie Cause.

Pets are family. Therefore, Grandma Dust is a mere degree away from my handsome G(p) who is hangin in his wire hood. (He's tough...he needs to stay behind bars for the safety of all.)

Thanks for hanging out with the family. It's a predominantly female household. The only male we have is caged but when speaks, he is the one who most likely to get a quick response. We all gotta go watch Dancing With the Stars now and go do our Voting Arm excercises for tomorrow (post written ahead of election).
