A person getting enlightened is like the moon reflecting in the water. The moon does not get wet, the water is not disturbed. Though it is a great expanse of light, it reflects in a little bit of water; the whole moon and the whole sky reflect even in the dew on the grass; they reflect even in a single drop of water. Enlightenment not disturbing the person is like the moon not piercing the water. A person not obstructing enlightenment is like the dewdrop not obstructing the heavens.-Dogen, "Flowers Fall"
.....dang. Wasn't that THE MOST? I WISH I could have written that....and not only b.s.'d my way through it, experienced it daily , owned it and worn the recycled t-shirt that went with it!
I swear though, I'm on my way. When I look back, I can no longer even see the starting point.

I like the quote and I know the feeling a getting there! It's beautiful when you are enjoying the travels and know the reality that the destination is not really the goal. Enjoying each step of the way is!
lol...love the title. And yes, totally the MOST! So glad I discovered your blog!
Thanks Brandi & Organic Yoga Mom for stopping by! I will be sure to see where you are in cyberspace! Although OYM - sadly I see you might not be blogging anymore. =(
Brandi - I just checked and I didn't realize that I already DO visit your blog! =)
It is a journey that you never turn back on, and brings only good things to everyone's life.
Being on this trip of awareness, enlightment/mindfulness, has been a miracle.
And, meeting others on the trip like you make it even better. GRIN.
Off to yoga on this BEAUTIFUL autumn morning in the Catskills. Levon Helm from The Band is playing for free in the pumpkin fields at Gills which will be mud from yesterday's storms....and they will be shooting pumpkins from a canon. Perhaps I will go...if I don't ride to the Bershires w/the top down to go to my favorite used book barn.....
tough choice
