Today was that appointment that most women love, being prodded, poked and felt and then being the one who has to pay. Thankfully Obamacare covers this. It wasn't lost on me that the soap in the bathroom looked very much like a "donation". I've had the same doctor since I was about 18 years old. It scares me to see her getting older. She's the only woman allowed to touch me in those places until Kristin Stewart returns my calls.
Last year, at the end of the holiday season, I thought I was being smart and purchased a tree skirt (as opposed to tree gauchos). It was about 75% off at that time. Today I finally put it under the tree for the first time and the floor was glitter littered, the worst being that this tree skirt was made in China. Therefore, the glitter is probably gold colored rat poison and with my two evil animals lurking about, I can't chance them licking it off of their paws. The tree skirt ended upside down with the edges tucked under. Sorry China, it's just that the lead in toys, poison in animal foods and toxins in everything else you send over here makes me a little nervous.
My hands would love to continue typing tonight but my eyes are threatening to give way to closing up shop. Snore......
