Divine Light

I took off work today for the O'Festivities. I'm a crier when it comes to things like this if it is something that I at all care about. I have not watched other inaugurations (if memory serves) but then again, the guy I choose to run my country is usually not being sworn in (not that I'm bitter - COUGH AlGore COUGH!) I have to be home where my make up can freely form tree branch rivers from Eye pool to the cliffs of my jaw.

ABC has shown the helicopter that the Bush's will be leaving in to go home. Go home? No Ball?

All I can envision is a terrorist driven Payless Shoe 18 Wheeler doing a drive by and launching all those leftover women's size Tens.

I'm sure Geo is tired. I did not vote for him either time, but just as with my 2nd marriage, I've gotten through my own anger and frustration issues and really, just wish the man peace. Let him go home peacefully. He has the rest of his life to think about his time served and to decide for his own soul what was done in the best interests of his country. If we want to really change like I believe America wants to change, we will send George off in peace and love, not in anger or jagged vibes.

I am hopeful that the shift of America's energy vibe has already started to calm itself in a giant warm glass of milk. (Be it soy, rice, almond, cow or goat - pick your choice, its a diverse land!) I feel the shift even in myself.

We have such amazing opportunities in front of us for a kinder nation, Obama's presence has already placed the stitches on the many societal, personal and international cracks and lacerations that had formed over the last however many years.

May we all pray, affirm, and proclaim safety and love for the Obama/Biden camp so that we may see the full potential of the new America.

And more shirtless vacationing photos as well.

you said it better than I could. and yes when he speaks I do cry. It a Universal cry of joy if you get my meaning. Its just my body feeling the energy shift and releasing tears. My husband said the speech is not important but the actions will be. Which is true but listening to this man speak is truly moving to my spirit. The people have spoken and I hope the energy of the "regular" people is stronger than those who are still holding back and keeping this economy in the quandary that its in.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama, no less. This is one of those Comicbook days where all alternative histories and futures spawn off from. He's not just black. He's black with a white Mom, an African name, and a Arabic middle name! This is the kind of day where you find officers of the Chrono Corps jaunting in from space and time to stop Time Assassins from trying to change their futures.

This here?

This is MEGA.

Yes, I cry too... I wish I could have stayed home today. And I agree with you, lets send GWB home in peace, there is nothing to be gained from hating.

thank you for writing this.

I didn't vote for geo either but as you, I just wish him peace and ultimately, he is his own judge.

(i'm a cryer too) LOL.

oh and I remember hanging with some pretty cool music buyers for distributors and a&r reps. Some of the better memories :-)

and yeah-I also met plenty of people that really, I wouldn't have minded NOT meeting.
