*Glug*

I am enjoying a Blue Moon beer to celebrate how much exercise I got in tonight.  It really helped to wash down that half of a caramel tart with chocolate sauce artfully zagging all over the top.  I've placed the beer in a teensy bit of a stretch from where I'm sitting in order to keep that calorie burning momentum strong!  Not to mention that I can see the remotes are at least two and a half feet away from me right now.

I've known about On Demand for quite some time now.  What my eyes failed to ever focus on was that there is a Fitness section.  Welp, what can you do. Freudian sip.  Of beer.

Now I am minutely obsessed.  I did an 8 minute work out as I waited for water to boil on the stove. Then a 10 minute work out as I waited for the pasta to cook.  And then, I watched my darling daughter joyfully eat while I hula hooped.

Oh don't worry.  I had dinner. But I can't hula hoop within an hour or so after eating so sweat it out first.  I most certainly have tried though, and very well could have been a human magic bullet.  Stuff was swirling around and I gave up after five minutes.  Whew.  To the left, to the left. That beer is a small stretch to the left.

I have had the good fortune to be thin all of my life, topping the scales during pregnancy at 128 lbs.  Har har har...ye days of the former year.

Then. The Grandson was born.  I know he's a five and a half hour plane ride from here, but he exists!  THAT is when the weight started piling on.  Ok, 10 pounds.  But for my frame and within a mere 6 months...that's piling.  So time to try and figure out...is it consumption? Lack of exercise?  Or....something else!  Now I'd like to petition the universe on this one - can we move the belly padding down to the butt or a little north east and west?  I really don't mind the weight that has gone there.  In fact, I can probably sit on the floor for an average of 10 minutes longer now before my butt hurts.  I can hear Sir Mixalot now...".Baby Got Back!  Oh....ewww....EWWWW...and BELLY! Hey what the hell!! Turn around girl! Turn back around!"

We won't blame the fling that started with bourbon in the fall.  Or that my former live in partner cooked a whole lot of starch.  It's gotta be the Grandperson.  Totally.  But thanks my cloth diapered honey bunch....I suppose I had to keep a little Buddha in order to swagger a little bootay.

But now I have the almighty knowledge of On Demand.  And I will wield this power with great force and vigor.  Away we go!  After I finish the other two beers in the fridge.
